Services
Five ways in.
Laddered from the smallest commitment to the largest. Most engagements start with a Commercial Read, because the first piece of work should tell you whether the rest is worth having.
The Commercial Read
$9,500 fixed
An independent assessment of one specific commercial question. Is this valuation defensible. Is the business ready to sell. Is the growth plan credible. Will this integration work.
Includes
- Two half-day sessions with you or your sponsor
- Review of your financial and commercial material
- Up to six conversations with people who know the business
- A scored assessment across five dimensions
- A written read of eight to twelve pages
- A two-hour readout across the table
Does not include
- Valuation or financial modelling
- Legal or tax advice
- Any representation to the other side
- Implementation
Timing
Two to three weeks.
The Working Session
From $12,000 a day
A facilitated day with your board or leadership team, built on the 5As and opened with a diagnostic. Used for strategy resets, post-acquisition alignment, succession conversations and cutting priorities back to the ones that matter.
Includes
- Preparation and up to four interviews beforehand
- A full facilitated day for up to twelve people
- All materials and pre-reading
- Written outputs and a decisions register within five working days
- A follow-up call at thirty days

- Individual coaching
Timing
One day on site, with preparation either side.
Retained Advisory
From $5,000 a month
Continuing access for owners, chief executives and sponsors who want one independent voice available across the year. Access is what is being bought, not hours.

Does not include

- Transaction mandates, which are scoped separately
Timing
Twelve-month term, billed monthly in advance. Limited to three clients at a time.
Transaction Mandate
Typically $35,000 to $85,000
Commercial-side work across a transaction: buy-side or sell-side commercial diligence, succession readiness, integration planning, or post-deal relaunch.
Includes
- A full commercial assessment of the target or the business being sold
- Brand, customer and market position analysis
- An assessment of key-person dependency and what survives the founder leaving
- An integration or separation plan where relevant
- A written report and a presentation to your board or investment committee
Does not include
- Financial due diligence and valuation, which sit with your accountants
- Legal due diligence and structuring
- Any success fee, contingent fee or equity participation
- Negotiating on your behalf
Timing
Six to twelve weeks, scoped and fixed at the outset.
Board and Governance
By arrangement
Non-executive director appointments and formal board adviser roles, commercial and not-for-profit, where an independent commercial voice is missing from the table.
Includes
- Board and committee attendance
- Papers, preparation and counsel to the chair or chief executive between meetings
- Annual strategy contribution
Does not include
- Executive responsibility
- Advisory work for the same organisation without disclosed conflict management
Timing
Ongoing. Maximum two commercial seats at a time.
